Rivara Window Coverings ("Rivara," "we," "us") sells and installs custom window treatments for homeowners in Utah. This policy explains what information we collect through rivarawc.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. If you call or text us, we keep a record of that conversation.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the site or ad that referred you. If you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad, we record the advertising identifier attached to that click so we can tell which ads produce real inquiries.

We do not collect payment information on this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How we use it

• To contact you about your quote request and schedule an in-home consultation.
• To prepare and deliver a quote, and to fulfill an order if you choose to buy.
• To measure which advertising works, so we do not waste money on ads that do not reach the right homeowners.
• To keep the site working, secure, and free of spam submissions.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

Calls and text messages

When you submit the quote form, you are agreeing that we may contact you by phone call and text message at the number you provide, about your quote. This is not marketing spam and it is not a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or ask us to stop calling by telling us so on any call.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the website work, and only as much as they need:

• Formspree — processes the quote form and delivers your submission to us by email.
• Cloudflare — hosts the website, protects it from attacks, and provides basic, privacy-preserving traffic analytics.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — we use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising and to reach relevant homeowners. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Cookies and advertising technology

The Meta Pixel uses cookies and similar technology to recognize your browser. This is what allows us to see that an ad produced an inquiry, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings, through your Facebook ad preferences, or through your device's advertising controls.

Your choices and rights

Utah residents have rights under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal data we hold about you, the right to get a copy of it, the right to have it deleted, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising. You will never be charged more or given worse service for exercising any of these.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify who you are before acting on it, and respond within the time the law allows.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for as long as we are actively working with you, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back to us. If you buy from us, we keep order and warranty records for as long as needed to honor the warranty and to satisfy tax and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection and form submissions are transmitted securely. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
